On 30 June, 2016, the organizers of Translation Forum Russia with the support of Literra translation company are inviting the Forum participants to get to know Astrakhan a little better by taking part in a fun quest before the opening of the conference. Attendees of TFR 2016 will have the chance to get to network before the event, see local landmarks and test their focus, orienteering and teamwork skills.
Abridged Rules
Participants receive a list of checkpoints and tasks they need to complete once they have found the checkpoints (rewrite a word, count the sum of digits, find a sign, etc.). The team's task is to find and visit as many checkpoints as possible and correctly complete the respective tasks.
The game is for teams comprising from 1 to 3 people. Team members should move between checkpoints together, separation is subject to disqualification. Participants can move around on foot (walking or jogging). The course is not timed. Part of the checkpoints can be presented in the form of riddles. Bonus checkpoints are possible. The purpose of bonuses will be described in the course legend. Separation on the course is prohibited, subject to random control by competition judges. The quest winners will be determined among the teams finishing before the finish closing time according to the maximum number of checkpoints taken.

Applications are also accepted in person at the start from 3.30 to 5:00 pm on the game day.
Start: Park Inn hotel. The teams start separately from 4 pm to 5 pm with a 1-2 minute interval (depending on the number of teams).
The finish site will be announced to the teams at the start. The finish closing time will be announced later.
Mandatory equipment: watch, pen, mobile phone with a flashlight, map of Astrakhan (the map will be provided by the organisers).
